It's still there, and if you go to Google maps and look for "king and queen pub, cleveland street, london w1" and zoom to the StreetView you can get a very similar view of the pub. You can also search on "1 Foley St, London, W1W 6DL" and get a shot of the pub from around the corner (it's surprising how different a place can feel when looked at from around a corner). Fron that side the StreetView also shows the old Post Office / Telecom / BT Tower. I used to work not that far from there, 5 minute walk maybe, up on Euston Road back in the mid to late 80's, don't think we ever visited that pub though. Now the picture, I like it, I really like the atmosphere that it being in B 'n' W gives it, could almost be back in the 50's. Do you remember what the source of the smoke was?, it was taken well after the era of London pea-souper fogs.
