Polaroids are/were an interesting form of photographs. I bought a Polaroid for my mother (she was useless with a normal camera but could get by with a big old Polaroid). Anyway, she got some half decent pictures of the cat (and even snuck one of me) and decided she wanted to carry them in her wallet - so she trimmed them, and of course they fell apart and all the goo got everywhere. That was the end of that, she wouldn't touch it again. Did you Polaroids always look so dark or is that an aging effect? The one we had (and is I think still sitting in the corner here) was always very temperamental and would every now and then turn out an almost black image, and then every now and then turn out a cracker (very, very, occasionally). Mostly it turned out decent snaps, provided you held it steady and didn't try and shoot through a closed window (ultrasonic focusing?). #7 and #8 are intriguing shadows. BTW - Good luck with the opening tomorrow.

The last one looks like a 19thC anthropological picture of some dusky native for our fascinated appreciation of their wild weird ways (thinking like a 19th Centuryer by the way) SUPER GOOD LUCK TOMORROW hope it is brill and exciting xp
